Q: How fast do they go?
A: These cars are geared to go between 40 and 60mph depending on the track size and configura-tion. They can reach speeds of well over 80mph in a straight line, but the radios can only maintain a 1000 foot range. After that the car would not be under con-trol.
Q: How much do they cost?
A: You can buy a used car for about $500 and get great deals on additional parts and supplies with it. New cars range from $1300 to $2000 minus electron-ics and radio. A good radio with all the servos will cost about $300. The initial cost for Quarter scale is a tad more than other smaller scale racing. However the cost to maintain and be competitive is lower over time. much lower!

A: Stock Cars are a minimum of 30lbs and Sprint Cars are a minimum of 24lbs.

A: We use C16 racing fuel to prevent vapor lock due to heat, but any regular pump gas will work. It is a 2 cycle motor so you have to add 2 cycle oil.
